How to set up SMS
SMS reaches customers quickly; it also has strict consent and carrier rules — configure sending before your first broadcast.
Compliance basics
- Only message contacts who have opted in to SMS marketing under your account rules.
- Required language and flows are automatically applied including opt in, and STOP/unsubscribe. This language and flows are not editable.
In account /brand settings, click on SMS settings and signal whether you will accept the TCPA compiance terms and conditions.
Once you have agreed, a unique toll-free phone number is automatically assigned to your Brand. You can remove or delete it at any time.
If a phone number is not available, you will be informed as soon as a number is available and has been assigned.
